Gabby is a fully qualified garden designer, professionally trained at Myerscough College near Preston. She believes that gardens are very individual places and should reflect the personality of the owner.

Gabby keeps up to date with current design trends, has studied the history of garden design and has visited inspirational gardens around the world.
Gabby works on both domestic and public projects and her designs have included small back gardens, large country gardens, school grounds and community gardens for a library, a care home and a mosque.
As well as providing a full design service Gabby provides design advice and cost estimates for her schemes and is on hand to manage each project from the initial briefing meeting through to completion of all work. As part of the management of development projects Gabby will also complete any necessary planning applications.
Preston is Gabby’s home and it is where she does most of her work. She also works on schemes throughout Lancashire as well as postal designs elsewhere.
Gabby works regularly with Lancashire County Council designing and implementing schemes to improve school grounds. She produces designs to meet each school’s individual requirements and manages each project to completion including providing detailed construction specifications, selection of suitably qualified contractors and supervising construction work for the duration of the project.
She is a specialist in the design of outdoor facilities for children, is a certified playground inspector (RPII) and part of her remit is to ensure that all play equipment installations meet current safety standards.
She is CRB checked and is happy to work with children or to use their ideas to produce realistic designs. Typical projects include play areas, outdoor classrooms, wildlife gardens and agility trails, all of which are designed to provide curriculum based learning and play opportunities for the children.
